期間：Length of the project is estimated to be 6 continuous months but could be flexible.
期間は３～６か月くらいで長い方がちゃんと仕事を環椎できる可能性が高くなるので6か月を望むが，希望には添います．1回連続的なステイの方が望ましいですが，学業などの都合もあるので希望には添います．時期についても学業に合わせることができる．

研究内容：
Dense and large-scale genotype-phenotype data generated by next generation sequencing and high-sensitive biomarker measurement has enabled unprecedented opportunity to characterize genotypic and phenotypic causes & consequences of human variability which will dramatically increase the value of human genomics in drug discovery.
Students will work with computational scientists and geneticists in Eisai to develop innovative computational methods to improve detection of genotype-phenotype associations.

Potential projects:
1. Creation of a method to impute missing results from human genetic studies (genomewide association studies).

2. Creation of a method to estimate ethnicity of a human genetic study cohort based on results of an association study.

3. Genetic analysis of Alzhiemer’s disease-related traits and creation/evaluation of method(s) to compare results for different traits.

専門性:
Student should have experience with informatics and knowledge or strong interest in human genetics.  Knowledge of statistics is also strongly preferred.
大学院の前期課程・後期課程を問いません．

発表等：
プロジェクトが成功裏に終わるなど，成果発表のおりには他の研究者と同様にオーサーシップに加わることができる（学会、論文など）．
