World-leading Innovative Graduate Study Program for Life Science and Technology (WINGS-LST) is co-organized with the Clinical Research Support Center and We have a career development seminar overseas.

Date: Friday, Feb 21, 2020 and Friday, March 6, 17:30~19:15
Venue: Seminar rooms 1 and 2, Faculty of Medicine Experimental Building

Two Japanese PI’s at National University of Singapore shall give us an interactive seminar about career development overseas over two Friday evenings.
English seminars will be given on the US academic system, mind set, skill and know-how, to get a position in the most efficient way, followed by a panel session.
A few slots for a 30-minute individual coaching session to bring your own CV and get feedback, are available upon pre-registration.

Program:
Day one (February 21) : Lecture
1) The various career tracks in the Life Sciences and Biomedical research
2) Understanding the “systems”
3) Strategies for research career development overseas

Day two(March 6): Lecture, Q&A and discussion
4)Preparing to start a research career abroad
5) Q&A and discussion: Beyond the postdoctoral researcher years
6) Individual consultations and advice on application material

If there are too many applicants, the organizer shall select the participants upon a fair selection process.
