2016/11/29, 12/6 Global Design Lecture: Android Mobile App Development

This series of lectures entitled “Android Mobile App Development” will take place as follows;

※“Confirmation of your attendance via a card reader” and “GCL TechTalk attendance report submission” are not required at this Global Design Lecture.
※Please note that attendance points of M2 and Doctor course students will be assessed for the subsidy.

Overview:
In this series of lectures, the participants become familiar with basic concepts of android devices and android apps, and learn developing their own apps by experimenting in a visual programming environment.

Specifically, the apps for data collection and questionnaire generation are covered.

No prior knowledge of app development or programming experience is required!

Lecture Content:
Day 1: Introduction, Creating simple questionnaires and working with files
Day 2: Using databases (local or remote) in the app

Language: English

Remarks:
・Students who attended in the previous series (July 2016) will be able to attend #1 to be held on Nov. 29 or #2 to be held on Dec. 6. Other students are required to attend two days (both #1 and #2), please note.

・In this series of lectures, students will be required to prepare internet connection, e.g. pocket Wi-Fi, utroam, etc..
