Virtual currencies or cryptocurrencies is now a global phenomenon.
The rise of the new technology is making headlines every day and it is now an extremely difficult task to keep up-to-date with fast pace of innovation.
To keep up-to-date with the latest trends in the field, and towards frontier ICT education at the University of Tokyo, we bring together academics and experts from Switzerland and Japan.
The two countries are where virtual currencies has been of great interest and the main focus of the symposium would be, but not limited to, the social and privacy related aspects of the new technology.
By attending the symposium, students would gain in-depth insights into the current status and future of the new rising technology.
