2015/10/09　Announcement of Winners for the GCL Presentation Competition in summer 2015

The GCL presentation competition has been held from July 29 through 31, 2015 at Faculty of Engineering Bldg. #2 in Hongo Campus.　There were total 582 comments on 40 presentations provided by GCL course students. From among many wonderful presentations, according to the rating comments, and as a result of the discussion in the promotion committee, the winners of awards were selected as follows.

 

The Best Award：	Ryo Shigeta	Ultra-low cost agricultural assistance Using Wireless sensor systems
Excellence Awards：	Hiroyuki Ikegami	InPowerComm: In-power time division multiplex 　　　communication based on electric current loop
	Kengo Kido	Lifesaving in mathematics 2015
	Zhang Xinlei	Human Computer Interaction/Integration Using Computer 　to support/augment human ability

Each of the awardees will be provided funding for their research activities (The Best Award：500,000 yen, Excellence Award：300,000 yen each).

Congratulations to all the winners! I hope for your continued success in research activities.

There are several students that received high praise from the promotion committee. I pray for your continued hard work towards next competition.
